A timing device will record the time it takes the 25 racers to complete the 22 mile route.
Participants
Non-racers, adventurists, and those that love to spend time with family and friends enjoying the beautiful
scenery along the Missouri River and Lewis and Clark Lake. The timing device will remain at the start
site if you are interested.
The Route:
This beautiful scenic ride starts in Riverside Park and continues through the Mount Marty College campus
to Chalk Stone Road. The route continues down Chalk Stone Road to a gravel road. The gravel road leads
us to a dirt farm road along the Mighty Mo until it reaches a sand dune area. The path then goes to the edge
of the river with the wet sand firming up the dune area enough for passage. The dunes lead to a road passing
through (Chief White Crane State Park). A road from the park leads us to a short climb to the dike
separating the Missouri River and Lewis and Clark Lake. We pass over the power house of the dam and
continue to NE.
The Nebraska side opens up to a beautiful single track area which expands to an adventurous area of widened
trails that are sure to excite all. There are short climbs with up an ddowns that will get your heart pumping.
We then get to return on the same route which allows you to see your fellow cyclists as they begin their various
stages of adventure.
Come experience off road biking that makes this area some of the best riding around.
